Fundraising & Grant
We have been working towards the development of our outdoor spaces with a new project ‘Outdoor Learning, Well Being & Mindfulness Project’ on site. The aim is to establish a ‘farm to fork’ culture in school; growing fresh produce on site and use of produce in food technology classes, therefore educating students in growing, preparing and using fresh produce.
The outdoor spaces around the forest and horticultural areas will be used for outdoor learning and reflection. A new accessible pathway has been installed around the horticultural area together with raised beds and wooden benches built on site. A potting shed has been installed, new fencing is underway and the polytunnel will be refurbished shortly.
