School Council 2023/2024

Here at John Grant School, we are proud to have pupil representatives that take part in School Council meetings. These meetings are in place so that pupils have a voice and are involved in decisions about the school that affect them.

So presently, the Council are busy putting forward the views of the classes they represent and making suggestions for making our school a positive environment in which we can all thrive.

They meet every half term and each class has a nominated member for one academic year. Over the last few years, they have discussed important issues such as new playground equipment, and ways in which to save energy as part of our ECO-Schools work, interviewed new members of staff and voted on new class names.

The year ahead will focus on our continuing new projects, together with new staff and pupils and methods in which to support these changes.

Here are some of the newly elected class representatives.
