The school have been involved in the Winter Gardens project in Great Yarmouth. This is a fantastic opportunity for the pupils to work with artists in different fields- animation, illustration and music to create pieces for the grand opening of the gardens in a few years’ time.
The pupils have visited the site and recorded different sounds in December. This half term a group have taken part in a sound workshop with artist Johann, and then with artist Matt Reeve they worked on stop animation using their own drawings or models.
Wonderful to see our pupils’ ideas and creatively being recognised and celebrated in our local community.
Well, done to all pupils who have taken part so far and we look forward to further sessions. Huge thank you to teacher Justine to making this opportunity possible for the pupils.
