Shorelarks is one of our classes for Key Stage 2 pupils of mixed ability. We are a class of eight pupils, and we explore our world through following our topic-based curriculum. During the Autumn term, we have looked at ‘Family and Growing’ and ‘Australia’.
This term has been busy for Shorelarks class! We have made gas masks as we explored the evacuation of children in World War Two, made photo frames for family pictures in DT, started growing plants to see how they change over time, and we have even made kangaroos that move!
Not to mention the visit we had from Pudsey Bear for Children in Need, or everyone decorating our class Christmas tree as we all began to look forward to Father Christmas’ visit!
We have enjoyed our swimming lessons with Tertia this term, and are looking forward to going horse-riding in January; we’ll have to wrap up warm! Brr!
