English Curriculum
As well as ensuring pupils experience a range of literature as they progress through school, we use the Literacy Strategy to develop reading and writing skills. We use a variety of techniques to teach pupils, including the Writing with Symbols symbol system to support reading and PEC’s Picture Exchange Communication System. We also give pupils access to reading and writing through ICT.
