Shortly before Christmas Curlew Class decided to involve the whole school in our ‘Reverse Advent Calendar’ scheme, collecting goods for the Great Yarmouth Foodbank. In PSHE lessons pupils wrapped empty boxes to be filled, wrote letters explaining to classes what they were planning to do and helped to collect the completed ‘food parcels.’  We took a total of 18 food parcels to the Salvation army to be distributed. Many thanks to you all for your generous donations.

This year our topic is ‘Our Environment, our world’. Pupils have already made a large Earth and Space display and are beginning to think about how pollution can affect our planet. Pupils have written their wishes for the future of our planet and added these to the display.

As part of our Science and DT work we made giant bubble wands and had some fantastic fun on the playground testing them.
